Rainer Laupichler is a German actor, born on January 21, 1957, in Daun. He studied business administration in Berlin before completing his acting training from 1981 to 1985 at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin and has appeared in over 250 film and television productions. He became known for roles such as fashion manufacturer Marcel Börner in “Schloss Einstein” (1998–2000, 8 episodes), HR manager Nübel in “Stromberg” (2009–2012, 7 episodes), Kriminalrat Schaaf in “Wilsberg” (ongoing), Dr. Seckendorff in “Club der roten Bänder” (2015–2016, 3 episodes), as well as guest appearances in series like “Alarm für Cobra 11” (2006–2016, 4 episodes), “Tatort,” “SOKO Leipzig,” “Der letzte Bulle” (2014, 3 episodes), and films like “Antikörper” (2005), “Die dunkle Seite des Mondes” (2015), and “Mackie Messer – Brechts Dreigroschenfilm” (2017).
