The Wall Street stock trader were astonished when they passed at a five-metre bronze statue of a bull on there way to work on December 16, 1989. Also New York's Mayor and city administration wondering who had placed the three-ton work of art there. One of the most unusual and imaginative artists of our time was behind the action: the Sicilian-born Arturo Di Modica. This is the story of the statue, which became a symbol of Wall Street.

Luna is an endearingly prudish teacher in Milan, who lives with her grumpy father. Often teased by students and co-workers alike, her only ally is the janitor, Angelo, who harbors a secret crush on Luna. When a carnival comes to town, Luna meets a man who possesses a magic lamp, which he uses to free her "shadow self." Depero: Rovereto, New York and Other Stories is the first documentary film focused on the artist from Trentino, Fortunato Depero. The film investigates the figure of a man who was able to go beyond the codified circuits of the art world: his work ranges from painting to theater, from set design to photography, the applied arts to opera on radio, publishing and advertising design. Fortunato Depero was rediscovered in the late seventies and re-evaluated in the nineties thanks to the attention dedicated to him by some scholars and the keen interest of his works by French and American audiences who saw in him the most significant artist of the Futurist movement.
