Arthur Ross Trimble

The owner of vast diamond mines, John Quelch is constantly fearful of theft and convinced that any woman will "sell her soul" for diamonds, he deals harshly with any employee caught stealing and has Lady Margot Cork watched while she is visiting Lorraine Temple. John and Margot fall in love, but she cancels their engagement when she learns of the "brutal" punishment of Jim Wingate for swallowing a diamond.

Originally planned as 12 two-reelers, only three were made: The Little Knight, The Love Charm, The Crown of Courage.

Although he graduated from that time-worn university, the college of hard knocks, the tireless efforts of John P. Grout have paid off. He owns a number of department stores and his wife and children are well provided for. However, his family is completely ungrateful and takes him -- and his money -- for granted. Grout's attempts to keep them all happy are driving him to bankruptcy and he eventually becomes seriously ill. Eventually his wife and kids come to realize how badly they've treated Pops.....

While Spec's father is ill, he takes over as conductor on the miniature railroad.

Buster Brown and his dog Tige wreck havoc on the neighborhood, pester Mary Jane and worry Buster’s mother.

Sixth episode in the Buster Brown 2-reel comedy series. Tige is pacing up and down, waiting for his master but cannot resist going in pursuit of a miniature dog in a parked limousine only to get very much the worse of the encounter. Meanwhile Buster is going riding with Mary Jane and Tige joins him on horseback but it transpire this is all just in his dreams.

Buster Brown gets upset when Mary Janes invites him to a party and she gives all her attention to a new boy. Mary Jane is upset because Buster got upset. Tige sets out to get Buster back in Mary Jane's good graces. A piece of tobacco in a candy sack seems like a good idea.
