Ausencia

For filmmaker Armando Capó, the southeastern Cuban town of Gibara is a place of ghosts, haunted by his lost youth, a bustling past that cannot be recovered — and the skeleton of a whale. THE LAND OF THE WHALE is a beautiful meditation on craft, beauty, aging, the transmission of knowledge, and what it means to be an artist.
La Tierra de la Ballena

A version of El Estatola del Campo's poetic Faust of the Poet (1886) integrates the major trilogy of Argentine gaucho poetry, is proposed here in a faithful version and integral.
El Fausto Criollo
In the cabin the conductor activates the gear lever; his motion breaks the inertia. Behind is the station, then images of the machinery, the resignation of travelers, and the landscape. The events are increasingly bizarre; there is no destination, only the journey as metaphor.
Inertia
A man rejected by society lives in an old wreck, anchored somewhere in the bay of Santiago de Cuba. One day, he receives a mysterious call that makes him eager to get in touch with other people again.
La Marea

In a tough Havana neighborhood, Italian Samuel Fabbri's boxing gym offers a safe haven to keep kids off the streets. Teenagers like Haiffer and Adrialis are encouraged to dream big, both inside and outside the ring. This vibrant yet dilapidated space reflects the tensions of Cuba as the team prepares for a crucial match against a more modern gym, which could either revive their fortunes or spell the end of Samuel's twenty-year fight.
By Your Side
For three days we follow the lives of several characters, each of them on a journey: from the everyday humdrum of their ordinary lives (the exhausting work shifts, being misunderstood by society, the homeless, the lonely, the yearning and the lack of any meaning for existence) to the place where they meet to recover something that the rationality of modern life cannot offer them: faith.
