13-year old Rikke sees Bea, the new girl in her class, as a challenge. After an endurance test to find which of them can lie longer in a circle of flames, they become friends. However, as a result of some unfortunate truths and half-truths, the friendship falters. Rikke feels that Bea has let her down, and resolves to continue the rivalry between them, but now in a less physical, more artful way. In addition we meet Rikke's elder sister Ninni, who has been in England to learn the language, and has had to leave her great love, a man twelve years her senior. The film is also about the problems Rikke encounters in fulfilling the expectations of those around her as she approaches womanhood.

The former convicted Eddie from Oslo meet Suzanne, the daughter of a tyrannic Swedish police chief, in a discotheque by coincidence. Together they run off to France. The father starts the hunt for them, thinking they're doing drugs.

Who made his first film only 11 years old. Worked as a piccolo at Hotel Bristol in Oslo . Took to the sea and was involved in the filming of "Windjammer" (1958). Freelance photographer in the US during the 60's. An outsider who lived a very different kind of life. In Paris or Berlin or Oslo.

"The Underground" is a strong visual depiction of humans and the environment of Kolsåsbanen during an exciting time with political overtones.

A frozen country road. A young woman picks up male hikers in her car, but will not let them utter a word of communication.

A Norwegian filmmaker applies for support from the public culture authority. The project is called "Historien om Terje Vigen" - an epic poem by Henrik Ibsen. A story about a sailor who suffers the loss of his family through the cruelty of another man. The applicant is turned down by an almost unanimous board. Arild Kristo reports the events through sketchy animations.

A young man takes the train to Oslo, He expects that his life will change completely and that he will be noticed.
