Uuno Turhapuro is searching for a job and takes a correspondence course in tour guiding. Eventually he gets a job in a small travel agency and takes a group of Finnish tourists to Marbella, Spain. Unfortunately Uuno's father-in-law Tuura is in the group, too, with his wife and daughter, Uuno's wife Elisabet. Tuura tries to get a signature to an important paper from a minister who's having a holiday in the area. Meanwhile, Uuno just relaxes and enjoys the sun.
Uuno Turhapuro is a lazy man who abhors manual labor, but has the ability to talk himself out of any sticky situation, usually with his long-suffering wife. In this, his first feature film appearance, Uuno embarrasses his wife in public, tricks his best friend, accidentally goes on a diet, and becomes a famous violinist.

Uuno's father-in-law councillor Tuura moves to the country with his wife and daughter Elisabeth. Uuno joins them when it turns out Tuura's mansion is on the construction site of a new road. Tuura however is set on preventing this.

Tarmo, a failed student, tries to win over his uncle, Consul Ă–, in the hope of receiving an advance on his inheritance. His stingy uncle threatens to donate his entire fortune to the Antiquities Preservation Society if Tarmo does not earn a million marks within a month. Tarmo's friend Hannu begins to motivate Tarmo to get rich by feeding him placebo "energy pills." The situation is complicated by a criminal gang getting involved in the inheritance hunt.
Uuno Turhapuro finds his doppelganger, Hugo, who happens to be a computer genius. Hugo helps Uuno save his father-in-law's business (and Uuno's inheritance) while Uuno helps Hugo win the heart of the love of his life.

The eccentric professor takes the alien devices he has found to his laboratory, where one of the components ends up with Joona Maaperä, a manager suffering from stress, causing him to behave strangely.
Speedy Gonzales arrives in a small village in New York to investigate the mysterious death of his brother Moses, with the help of the lively Rita. In the village, they are met by Hämeen Hitain, Manolito, Bat Mastersson, and Clyde, among others, with whom Speedy must compete. His curiosity ultimately leads him to become the target of a manhunt.
The greedy lord of the manor, von Wurstburg, lives lavishly on his estate, heavily taxing the local peasants, when the official heir to the estate, the noble Sir William, arrives. Meanwhile Director Tuura, Uuno's father-in-law has been chosen to a very high office and thinks that Uuno is just gaining bad reputation for him, so he decides to broake Uuno's and Elisabet's marriage.
'Tup-Akka-Lakko' is a sequel to 'Koeputkiaikuinen ja Simon enkelit' in which doctor Jyrä invented a test-tube-adult who looked exactly like Mutikainen, a mathematician. When the test-tube-adult's body emerged, his voice moved into Mutikainen's body because of the doctor's error. Problems ensue.
It is the first anniversary of Uuno and Elisabet. Uuno has placed a bet with his friend Härski-Hartikainen a year ago, that if Uuno can take just one year of marriage with Elisabet, Hartikainen will treat him a festive dinner. However, Hartikainen buys a lottery ticket for Uuno, who agrees to deduct it from his debt – and the festive dinner is reduced to a can of milk and half a sausage. As it happens, Uuno becomes the lottery winner of 1.5 million marks, only to soon realize he doesn't own a single penny yet. Mister Tossavainen arrives and offers to finance Uuno before he actually gets the jackpot. Thus, Uuno gets to live a rich live on credit. He buys a raccoon fur, leopard swimming trunks and a couple of Mercedes-Benzes. Women begin to fancy Uuno and so does his father-in-law. As time goes by it is revealed, though, that Uuno is not actually a lottery winner, and so he has to escape the anger of others to Härski's car repair shop.
Traveler Severi travels to Helsinki to enjoy some culture, where he meets Sinikka and Simo, who run a buying and selling business. At a customs auction, he buys a painting that businessman Kehveli and his assistants also have their eyes on.
A former Red Rebellion leader returns home after being imprisoned for his participation in the Finnish Civil War, but soon finds out that wartime mindsets still linger in the heads of people.
Lasse Pöysti plays a young reporter named Esko Pekuri who thinks he's got a front-page story. But every article he writes goes in press as minor news. He gets a fantastic idea to impersonate a gangster and write an article about prison life.
Uuno is working as campaign manager of a president candidate but accidentally Uuno himself becomes the president of Finland.
