After consolidating itself as a tourist destination in the mid-1960s, this small coastal village has become the dormitory town for the workers of a Nuclear Power Plant. With the liberal promise of prosperity and socioeconomic wellfare, many workers left their homes to move to the small city and started working at the new Nuclear Power Plant. The collective unrest and the silence, cut off by the great gusts of wind, articulate the landscape of the village that is now under the aid of the Nuclear Power Plant.

Lo Que Tú Dices Que Soy

We invited a group of people to a reading of the script of a film about a man who romanced women in order to swindle them. As the reading progressed, people began to dig into their own stories. The whole thing was recorded live. The result is a shared reflection on the ideal of romantic love and the extraordinary (and not necessarily positive) influence it has on men and women.
La estafa del amor

Jordi was born 51 years ago with cerebral palsy. Although he can’t speak, he tries to communicate using his letter chart. That’s how he tells Maider, the director of the film, that at the age of 21 he felt God talking to him for the first time. But today, now that he has moved out of his parent’s house into a home, he no longer feels God. Once a year, Jordi makes a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, where he searches for his connection with God, despite not knowing if God will come back one day.
Jordi's Letters

The camera filming the members of a public jury, facing a murder trial, is as lost as they are in the labyrinth of evidence, images and declarations, unable to film anything that is not of its own decomposition.
The Jury

Basilio Martín Patino. La Décima Carta
A documentary about family imprint, childhood, love and rejection, built around the image of two teenage siblings who embark on a premonitory journey into themselves, returning us to a raw and stripped-down present in which we are all, inevitably, participants.
My Sister and Me
It is a symmetrical film, situated between documentary and fiction, cinema and video, the feminine and the masculine. It speaks of the shared space between a woman devastated by her illness and an astronaut determined to take part in the first crewed mission to Mars. The film shows how their lives traverse a space that preserves, in a way, a sense of symmetry. Both speak with the filmmaker, who attempts to explore the limits of the human being—and her own limitations when making a film.
