Sean O'Casey

Theatre 625 is a British television drama anthology series, produced by the BBC and transmitted on BBC2 from 1964 to 1968. It was one of the first regular programmes in the line-up of the channel, and the title referred to its production and transmission being in the higher-definition 625-line format, which only BBC2 used at the time.

He falls in love with bookshop assistant Nora (Dame Maggie Smith) who encourages him toward a life of writing. Finding success at the Abbey Theatre, his unorthodox views estrange him from family, friends, and his own past.

In the 1980 BBC adaptation of "Juno and the Paycock," Dudley Sutton played the role of Captain Jack Boyle, alongside Frances Tomelty as Juno. The play, written by Seán O'Casey, is set in Dublin during the Irish Civil War and centers on the Boyle family's experiences with an anticipated inheritance and the subsequent fallout.

A young man living in a strictly run boarding house secretly brings a girl of loose morals into his room at night, who is nevertheless well-groomed and takes great advantage of her situation. For the heart of the comedy lies in the problem of how to get rid of a difficult girl in the morning.
