SOKO 5113 is a long-running German police procedural television series. It was first aired in 1978 on 2 January. SOKO is an abbreviation of the term "Sonderkommission" in German.

A team of inspectors investigates murders in and around the small Upper Bavarian town of Rosenheim, and they still have plenty of time to see idyllic landscapes and luxurious pre-alpine villas and enjoy sumptuous Bavarian fare with beer.

The SOKO Stuttgart team investigates analytically and with sensitivity in the likeable state capital. The exciting cases of the series lead them to bizarre crime scenes and to different milieus.

Chief Inspector Benedikt Beissl, who lives in Berchtesgaden with his wife Elisabeth and their three daughters Maria, Johanna and Eva, has been keeping order in Berchtesgaden for decades. To his displeasure, one day he is assigned a new colleague. Until now, the lone inspector has been content to do his work alone.

Henry is a playboy who has no idea that he is the father of a beautiful, cute girl out of a One-night-Stand. Her mother left the daughter in front of Henry door after her husband realized after 8 years of marriage that he is not the father so their relationship now is breaking up... By the way: Kokowääh, is how a German (in this case an 8 Year old child) that has never heard the dish before - would pronounce "Coq Au Vin" (chicken in a wine sauce).

When the head of Herbi Zidinger is discovered on the head of a scarecrow, Chief Inspector Franz Germinger Jr. is immediately on the scene. His sister discovered the skull, so Germinger Senior quickly learns about the murder and, as usual, gets involved in his son's investigation. The father-son team soon have three suspects.

Liv Mehlmann wants to throw an unforgettable birthday party for her daughter Alicia (14). But when she sends a message to the "Holy Moms" chat group that the precocious Rosie will also attend the party, the helicopter moms freak out. Rosie is not a good influence, she's got to go, immediately. Liv becomes a tool for social exclusion and ends up being marginalized herself. Teenagers don't have it easy. But mothers, whose social status is wavering, get their just deserts, too.
