Franco Bellomo

An urban version of the most popular English play Romeo & Juliet, the film "La Toma" by Jackson Gutiérrez, tells the story of Robert and Alexandra, two teenagers who live an unfortunate love between the rivalry of their families.

Carlos Mendoza is an honest cop. When he doesn't accept a bribe and put in jail the culprits, he awakes the anger of a local drug dealer, who kidnaps its family and makes him choose between his family and his career and partner.
