After the death of their parents and to escape a forced and inevitable separation, Bruno, twenty-four, and his sister Irene, fourteen, flee the city. The two orphans live by wandering and committing petty thefts and robberies, almost for fun. The agreement between the two is not perfect, because there is someone who would like to go back. But the game will become more and more serious and will lead them to death. A small example of independent and courageous Italian cinema. The structure is that of a road movie (the place crossed in this case is Molise), but the directors focus above all on the humanity of the characters, lingering on their faces.

A home atlas of wonders that are sometimes misunderstood and of places known, loved and often lost. A country marked by strong inequalities and nevertheless in continuous transformation in the difficult race towards sustainable development, problematically suspended between the old and the new and the increasingly difficult search for a balance to safeguard its éthos.
