When a body is found on the bridge between Denmark and Sweden, right on the border, Danish inspector Martin Rohde and Swedish Saga Norén have to share jurisdiction and work together to find the killer.

The series is named after a small part of Saltsjöbaden called Solsidan. It revolves around Alex and Anna who are expecting their first child and have just moved to Alex's childhood home in Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm County. Alex tries to get Anna to enjoy herself, and at the same time spend time with his childhood friend Fredde.

A young woman comes to a remote island to get away from it all, taking refuge at a modern studio utopia. Her stay is jarringly interrupted by an acoustic installation artist. Tension between the contrasting personalities rises as differing lifestyles and expectations clash. Meanwhile nature and mysterious sheep close in on the labyrinthian house.

They meet in a chat room and despite appearances they discover they have much in common. Sandor and Ida lives in different cities and when Sandor unexpectedly visits her it ends with disaster.

Markus younger brother Peter is living a quite different life with his girlfriend Minna. Their every day is characterized by problems. Guilt, anxiety and drugs are tearing their life apart. The brothers only have sporadic contact and the only thing they have in common is the cabin they recently inherited from their father.
