Biography
Deva Katta is an Indian-American film director. His films Vennela, Prasthanam and Autonagar Surya were widely received and have a cult following among Telugu audiences. In 2010, Prasthanam was showcased in the Indian Panorama section at the International Film Festival of India. The film also won two Filmfare awards including Filmfare South Critics Award for Best film and Nandi Award for Best Feature Film in 2010. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, to pursue a mechanical engineering degree. Since then, he has become a naturalized American citizen, as his wife and child lives in California today.

Dynamite is a Telugu action thriller film directed by Master Vijayan, Manchu Vishnu and also guest directed by Deva Katta for 9 days of the shoot, the film is produced by Manchu Vishnu under the banner 24 Frames Factory featuring himself, Pranitha Subhash, J. D. Chakravarthy in pivotal roles. It is the official Tamil remake of Arima Nambi. Stunts and actions co-ordinated by Vijayan who also directed the film along with Vishnu Manchu after Deva Katta walked out of the project due to creative differences.

here is a bunch of four friends (Varun Sandesh, Sundeep Kishan, Naveen and Rakesh) are desperate for quick money. The only way of making money is to rob a bank. They devise a plan and get into a bank wearing masks and carrying fake guns. They take the money and are about to escape. A surprise followed by police round-up leads to a complicated situation. The rest of the story is all about how these four turn virtuous and victorious at the end
