Devising a fantastic universe, in which ancient make-up and costumes share the screen with contemporary elements such as limousines, helicopters and mobile phones, 'Philosophy in the Boudoir' intends to blur the borders of realism and make the spectator get closer to timeless issues. The boudoir inside an industrial plant brings an aggressive aesthetics to the teachings and orgies. The takes are developed in different ways. The franzy of orgies has a fast editing, whilst philosophical moments are long sequence shots. By bringing to the contemporary world a 200-year-old romance, we intend to trigger questions about the real moral changes in Western society. It is also interesting to highlight Sade's feminism. His female heroes are independent women, masters of their own sexual drive. At last, due to the solid theatrical background of the artists, the film was inevitably contaminated by unusual procedures, contributing to new possibilities of exchange between arts.
Philosophy in the Boudoir

The film is an adaptation of the play of the same name staged by the theater group Os Satyros. More than 200 characters from the central region of São Paulo, including residents, prostitutes, drug dealers, businessmen, transsexuals, prostitutes, actors and musicians were interviewed. These testimonials were the starting point to build the trajectory of eleven characters that intersect during a night on the town.
Hypothesis for Love and Truth

In a visceral stage show, which alternates humour and drama, Os Satyros presents an adaptation of a work by Petronio. The play is a cathartic experience: the entire underworld of male prostitution portrayed by Petrônio presents an impressive dose of actuality, considering a text written almost two millennia ago.
Satyricon
Cuba Libre focuses on the return of Cuban transgender actress Phedra de Cordoba, from the Satyros theater group, to Havana after 53 years away from her country. The film discusses the struggle for gay rights in an extremely macho environment such as the island ruled for decades by Fidel Castro, now led by his brother Raul.
