In the company of housewives, professionals and a retired tennis instructor, Hernán is part of a middle-class community that is preparing for the eventual arrival of the end of the world at a holiday resort in the marshy Tigre delta.

There is a confrontation, the origins of which have been lost to history. The confrontation of those who yearn for the afterlife against those who have only a here and now; the confrontation of those who are on the side of souls against those who are in favor of bodies. Lara is, at the same time, a concrete case and the figure of that conflict.
