Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.

Luna Kunath (Caroline Erikson) and Tamara Meurer (Anjua Pahl) work together in the Potsdam murder commission. Luna is single, strong, assertive, funny, empathic, sporty and fast in the head. It is an excellent policewoman whose carefree always accompanies with a little naivety and brings you again and again in brenzy situations. Tamara, however, has more mature, adult. Potsdam, Berlin's pretty little sister, confronts the commissars again and again with a wide variety of life effects. At the beginning of the 50s, two extremely disparate men meet in a private sanatorium for consumptives: an officer in the People's Police, Josef Heiliger; and a young Protestant curate, Hubertus Koschenz. On account of their consumption, they have to share a room. Initially, this is the only thing they have in common. The film explores Hubertus's struggle with his sexuality within the context of both the church and the socialist state.

During their tour, Werner Träsch and his colleagues Ralle Schieber and Tarik Büyüktürk arrive at a housing estate where the businessman Waselitzki draws their attention to graffiti. Waselitzki plans to rent out the apartments in order to then rent them out again at a higher price. Träsch and his colleagues want to prevent this with all their might.
High-school senior Peter considers the adults around him to be hypocritical, self-congratulatory, and immersed in the past. He gets suspended for writing an essay that his teachers consider to be a challenge to the state. Just Don't Think I'll Cry became one of twelve films and film projects-almost an entire year's production-that were banned in 1965-1966 due to their alleged anti-socialist aspects. Although scenes and dialogs were altered and the end was reshot twice, officials condemned this title as "particularly harmful." In 1989, cinematographer Ost restored the original version, and this and most of the other banned films were finally screened in January 1990. Belatedly, they were acclaimed as masterpieces of critical realism.
An alien from the planet Antoria lands on Earth and is promptly assaulted by the porn producer Gerhard Hornbacher, who steals his "form changer". Hornbacher sees this as a way to make money and founds the spiritual TV channel "Teleportal", where he offers people the opportunity to flee to Antoria to escape the impending destruction of the Earth, for a price of course.
