Jessica Miller is thrust into the "real" world when she graduates from college. To conquer this new world, she must discover her faith, open a box of memories and learn the simple secrets of life only a mother can share.
When the network announces that her television therapy show is changing to a tabloid shock-fest, a strait-laced and caring psychologist returns to her hometown and reunites with her high school sweetheart. Eventually, she realizes that having someone to share a life with is more important than fame or the excitement of the city.
Troubled by his disturbed past, a young man kidnaps the girl of his dreams--his ex-girlfriend Jessica--and ultimately finds himself battling with his conscience, having to decide whether to let her go or keep her prisoner.
