Terápia is HBO Europe’s Hungarian adaptation of the Israeli award-winning TV drama series BeTipul (In Treatment), part of a series of adaptations that also includes Romanian, Czech and Polish versions. The police captain of a small religious town orders a painting from a young girl, a famous painter who has recently arrived in the town. However, he does not receive the finished painting because she disappears before he can deliver it. A detective from the neighbouring magistrate's office arrives to investigate the mysterious crime, and soon the handcuffs are snapped on the culprit, a lonely 17-year-old teenager known to the whole town as a fool.
