Jafar Ali

An Iraqi film about the life story of a money collector (Kamsari) inside one of the public transport buses in Baghdad, and the daily encounters with various segments and different characters, along with the funny situations and incidents that ensue.

A simple employee decides to marry his colleague at work, but he can't get her a proper apartment, so he turns to friends to help him in vain. They decide to get married in a mobile caravan, and they face funny situations.

Based on real events, the film tells the story of an Iraqi pilot who was shot down in Iran during the Iran-Iraq War. As he tries to find his way back, the injured pilot transverses the hostile and dangerous terrain using the stars and the flight of birds to guide him.

A group of rebellious young men living in Baghdad in the 1950s are consumed by feelings of frustration. Among them are Saeed, who is arrested for leading a workers' strike; Sharif, who sacrifices his life defending his principles; and Hamid, who is in love with his colleague Salma and dreams of marrying her. Life unfolds for these young men amidst their challenging circumstances.
