Star Academy is a French reality television show produced by the Dutch company Endemol. It consists of a contest of young singers. It spawned an equally successful show in Quebec called Star Académie. It is broadcast on TF1. At the end of each season, selected contestants would go on tour around France, Morocco, Switzerland, Belgium, Tunisia, and other French-speaking countries.
Twelve celebrities are masked under spectacular costumes, with their identity hidden. They compete by singing their own versions of songs, and the judges and audience must guess who is behind each mask!
In each episode, 3 celebrities who have never met go on a 24-hour break in the countryside. A moment out of time to meet and talk about love, friendship, life with its obstacles and surprises.
The program combines comedy, celebrity, musical guests, and human-interest stories.

Over the course of five rounds, two teams of three contestants face off to separate the good singers from the bad. A wall of 11 singers is revealed, each accompanied by a piece of information about them. At the end of each round, each team must select one singer they believe to be a good singer. If their choice is correct, they win a cash prize corresponding to that round for their charity. If not, the opposing team wins €1,000.

X Factor is a Franco-Belgian television music talent show to find new singing talent after public auditions, intermediate tests, and live shows. The first series was broadcast on Mondays, from September to December 2009, on W9 and RTL-TVI. The second and last series was broadcast on Tuesdays, from March to June 2011, on M6 and RTL-TVI.
