In Egypt forties and before the 14th of July revolution in 1952, a poor family lives in a prince's palace where the father works as a gardener. The family has two children Ali and Hassan. Ali grows up liking the prince's daughter who loves him too. Now grown ups, they realize how impossible this love story is. Joining the army, Ali fights in Palestine while the brother joins the police and is part of the King's guards. Ali gets back from Palestine and joins the secret military movement that will soon rule Egypt, The Free Officers. The revolution starts and the Free Officers are now in charge, putting Ali against his brother as a guard for the king and also against his lover, the prince's daughter as the revolution will confiscate all her family's wealth.

A man suffers from a heart attack so he sends his daughter to get medicine for him. After providing the medicine for the girl, the pharmacist discovers that he has unknowingly mixed a poisonous elixir. Reporting what happened to the police, the chief officer of Cairo starts an intriguing, full-fledged campaign to save the man before he takes the lethal medicine.

Naim, who decides to take revenge on Narges' widow, Wasfi, who caused him to be imprisoned, so he makes an agreement with Dalal in order to plan to seize Narcissus’s money. Her money to him, but he discovers it's not easy at all.

Based on the novel by Egyptian writer Tawfiq al-Hakim, 1937, Diary of A Country Prosecutor records the daily activities and tribulations of a public official appointed to act as a village justice in the countryside.

The prosecutor (Kamel) succeeds in convicting (Othman Borai), the drug dealer, and (Borai)’s wife decides to take revenge on the prosecutor, causing a quarrel between him and his wife (Samiha). Kamel believes that his wife is cheating on him, so he divorces her and expels her from the house. He discovers the truth and tries to search for her. He learns that she jumped into the Nile, so he travels with his son outside the country.

Thabit and Gamil are unemployed. They con a circus owner who sends his men after them. They escape to Cairo, where they meet an orphan girl who lives with her aunt. The aunt keeps the truth about her niece's father's wealth from her.

Hikmat disguises herself as a man after her brother suffered a tragic accident while on his way to start his work. She pretends to be teacher for the children of the Pasha instead of her brother. Hikmat gets to know the children whom she teaches and becomes Mr. Hikmat.

Adel dedicates his life to supporting the farmers, which his wife Hoda, who lives a life of luxury and extravagance, objects to, while her sister Malak Masaei supports Adel, so Hoda suspects that there is something between them.

In the 13th century AD, the Turkish slave girl (Shajarat al-Durr) captures the heart of (Al-Malik Al-Salih) and he marries her so that she can interfere in the affairs of the country and plot and plan conspiracies and schemes when the war against the Crusaders breaks out. It happens that (Al-Malik Al-Salih) dies during the war, so she hides the news of his death so that the soldiers in the battle will not be shaken, and she continues to rule and command in his name.
