The miners finally receive some pay, but Mishka still ends up with no money to buy his bride a gift, so he seeks the help of his perpetually drunk buddy Garkusha. Mishka's poor working-class family all help to put on a fine wedding with copious amounts of vodka, even though they are suspicious of Tanya's occupation in Moscow, and of her connection with her Mafia ex-boyfriend Borodin.

Seven interconnecting stories that take place in Russian bedrooms. These include a son visiting his complaining bedridden mother, a middle-aged couple bickering, one soldier bullying another in an army barracks, a rich childless housewife picking up the soldier for rough sex while her husband has a tryst with another man arranged by computer, and a wife who asks to be handcuffed to her bed while being videotaped by her lover.

College student Polina dreams of a mysterious flower on the gate of a medieval castle, which has incredible gravity. She tells her friend, who is interested in mysticism, about the dream. Mysteriously, they find an ancient book and discover in it a print depicting the same flower as in Polina's dream, as well as six mysterious blank pages.…
