A meeting in the middle of Tokyo between Jan, a middle age French photographer who is living his life carelessly, and Flare, a 17 years old runaway girl with a complicate family background. Charmed by Jan’s works, a budding of love soon developed in Flare. While attracted to the wild life of Jan, she holds onto a complicated feelings. With this swaying conflicts inside of her, it painted a vivid picture of growing up in this Japan – France collaboration work of a painful love story.

Kenichi Shibuya is a 50-year-old salaryman who divorced a few years back. Since the divorce, his relationship with his daughter has become awkward. One day, Kenichi Shibuya and his boss Yumi Ayase are struck by lightning and die. They go to the afterlife. There in the afterlife they hear of a legendary soup. If someone drinks the legendary soup, that person is reborn, but the reborn person has no memories of their prior life. Kenichi Shibuya then searches for the secrets in the legendary soup, hoping to be reborn, but not forget his daughter.

When a new employee from a well-off family begins working for the first she had understood that she is walking into a fabulous working environment. This is what they call a 'white company.' Instead, she is in for a rude shock when the employer turns out to be a 'black company,' which is one with a negative environment, a rude boss, problematic co-workers, abuse and low pay. The employee's father runs a company that happens to go broke. She herself is not a model employee exactly however.

Rina Sakurai, a popular model of Koakuma Ageha, a hair and make-up magazine for gals, makes her actress debut. Abandoned by family and betrayed by her boyfriend, Haruka Ichinose comes to Tokyo with her pet turtle, Jimmy. With heaped up blonde hair, flashy fashion, beloved Jimmy, and no fixed address, she takes interviews. But she has no luck on job hunting and becomes a net cafe refugees. One day, she finds a flyer and she jumps into a cabaret. What kind of future is waiting for Haruka?

Naomi Kishi who has a habit of self-harm, grew up with a mother with an abnormally strong desire for control and was profoundly ill. Naomi's relationship with her mother became unbearable, and she fled her parents' home. She goes to a downtown area where her mother is out of sight. She is caught when she enters an old-fashioned coffee shop, eats and drinks without paying. However, the coffee shop manager does not take her to task and even offers her a place to live. She begins living in a shared house in the downtown area, and gradually regains her true self through contact with unique people she has never met before in her life.
