Jimmy Onishi

After participating to a previous show where they have to bet or be challenged to any kind of competitions, the losing members of the Gaki no Tsukai are selected to spend 24 hours in a setting which they have no knowledge of the theme nor the course of the events. They are exposed to various absurd and crazy situations nonstop for 24 hours and must refrain from laughing. If they do so, hang-men appear and hit the rule breakers with a weapon (the weapon varies every year).

Produced by Hitoshi Matsumoto, Documental pits ten comedians against each other. The objective is to make each other laugh in a closed room. Each contestant brings a one million yen participation fee. The last person to stay in the room without laughing wins. The winner is awarded a 10 million yen prize and bragging rights as the funniest comedian.

In the 1980s, a simple-minded fool named Hideaki meets comedy legend Sanma, changes his name to Jimmy and becomes a comedic superstar.

SanTaku is FujiTV's annual New Year's Day special hosted by Sanma and Kimura Takuya.

Chika Tokorozawa, the daughter of a pet shop owner, seems unable to get away from her brave but stupid dog, Rin Tin Tin (played by famous Japanese comedian Jimmy Onishi). The dog seems to be in love with her owner to the point of obsession, but his dream of getting with the girl is thwarted over and over again by everyone and everything around him, including his very uninterested owner. Three short stories, all about bicycles and/or bicycle racing. Specifically, keirin track bicycle racing. An aging cyclist is too young to quit racing, but too old to keep up. A friendship between two old friends would fall apart, if it wasn’t for the keirin race. In between, a magical realist fable about the bond between a woman and her bike.
