The Mokhtar Narrative is an Epic/History television series directed by Davood Mirbagheri, based on the life of Al-Mokhtar. Over 140 actors were cast in it. Mokhtar Saqafi was a Shiite Muslim leader who sets up a rebellion movement in 686 A.D in the town of Kufa to avenge the martyrdom of Hussain (grandson of Islamic Prophet Muhammad).

The story is about a daughter of a noble family in old Tehran named "Mahboobeh" who falls in love with a carpenter's apprentice from their neighborhood. She rejects his suitors and stands up to her family so that they will recognize this love and consent to her marriage to Rahim. Unaware that the wheel of time sometimes does not turn according to the will.

A month before the festival, Makoto went to Isphahan, Iran, to receive the carpet. He brings his daughter Sakura, who does not open her heart after she lost her mother. To surprise, the carpet production has not even started. It will take 3 months from the start. For Makoto it means he betrays not only the festival planners but also his late wife.
