This work marks a milestone in my research with video. For the first time, in fact, I'm using a particular system of my own invention: the video loop. The technique, previously used in the music field, is applied by me to video and allows me to create infinite superimpositions of images and sounds that accumulate in real time. This technical-poetic procedure will later determine a large part of my video production and will find the most correct application in music video performances.

Like all works that use this process, the creation takes place in the presence of spectators who, live, participate in the process as it evolves. The work documents, without post-production assembly interventions, the particular possibilities of the system.

In this video performance I used one of the most basic features of the video recorder, i.e. the possibility of retransmitting the recording immediately after making it.

“Time consumes images, time consumes sounds”. This phrase is punctuated over time with words and movements by a "human metronome".

Contrast between different portraits of women, between the public and the intimate.

Time lags between cause and effect during a cello performance. In the work, the variables of sound are related to the variables of the camera. For example: glissando = zoom, out of tune = out of focus. The camera is used as a musical instrument, a device that translates sound events into visual elements.

A mute mysterious image: hands that multiply leaving their mark over time. In seconds see the years go by. The same actions are repeated and multiplied always the same, only time is no longer the same: the hands are different, the hands age.

Through gestures and sounds produced by the performer, movements and verses of 12 animals are reinterpreted.
