Biography
Andres Heinz is best known for his screenplay The Understudy. The Understudy is the screenplay that the blockbuster feature film, Black Swan (2011) starring Natalie Portman is based on. Heinz attended UCLA and NYU film schools where he completed his B.F.A with the highest honors. His thesis film "Ground Level B" was the winner of the 1st Place Mobil Award. After graduation, Andres became a successful producer. His production career included being a Production Coordinator for the film unit at Saturday Night Live. Andres went on to direct his first feature, "Origin of the Species" and has since sold several original screenplays.
