The life of the Danish revue singer Liva Weel (1897-1952), who became very beloved in a series of films. During the Nazi German occupation of Denmark she achieved further renown through the encouraging songs of Poul Henningsen.

Policeman Karl Jørgensen was once a prominent detective, but due to a violent temper he's now checking out passports at the airport, smuggling stout to work in his thermos every day. However, Kaj, the boyfriend of his daughter, is suddenly killed by a heroin overdose injected by hooded gangsters. It turns out he was spying on their organisation for his brother, Frank, who was framed by them while smuggling narcotics. When Frank hears about Kaj's death, he escapes from prison to get back at the killers. Meanwhile, the same gangsters threaten Karl Jørgensen's daughter, and soon Karl is involved in a major drug smuggling case. Frank and his buddy rob a bank and shoot a police officer. A country-wide manhunt ensues while Karl is having trouble with controlling his daughter's vigilante activities, with finding out who killed Kaj, with the police detectives on the case and with his own alcoholic and lacking existence.

The head of a big engineering firm is a workaholic who neglects his pretty young wife - leading to her joining an "escort" service as a means of sexual relief. All is well, until the escort service is hired to entertain the engineering firm's clients at a swingers' party.

The young headmaster of a boy's boarding school has decided that due to the virility of his young charges, they are a sort of national treasure. He believes that his school should become co-educational as soon as possible. In order to raise funds for the changeover, the boys stay behind during their summer vacation and temporarily convert the school into a love hotel.

Jacob and Finn establish their own private detective agency at a car-wrecking dump, then set out to ensnare clients. Once they have one, they proceed to make a hopeless mess out of everything for everybody. They remain, of course, blissfully unaware of their own ineptitude.

Four young men, Henry, Toft, Tam, and Klausen, take the train to Maribo, ending up at the prison gates. All four are serving sentences for drunk driving. They are a little embarrassed, but each has a good explanation for the "accident." They are "almost innocent" and therefore entitled to make the best of their voluntary "vacation."

A welfare recipient who, sitting on the sofa with a beer in his hand, can fix the whole world situation, and Herdis Hansen, the all-embracing wife who provides electricity for her husband's TV and strolls around in a fur coat "given" to her by their son Brian. Despite the king's bailiff Kjeldsen's countless attempts to evict the Hansen family, Elvis manages to fend him off every time. To get them to move, he is offered director Knudsen's new headquarters, a villa in an affluent neighborhood in Charlottenlund, as a temporary solution.

Bjarne is a hairdresser in a small Danish provincial town. He spends his time planning his daughter's wedding, which threatens to ruin the mild-mannered man. At the same time, the town's mayor is visited by his brother, who has stolen a Van Gogh and needs money to flee. The two stories quickly become intertwined.

A folk comedy for the whole family. The two carefree farm musicians, Poul Otto Madsen and Bernhard Iversen, along with the dog Hannibal, move into the garden houses Nokken on Amager. Shortly afterwards, Bernhard's two children, Anne and Peter, show up after living with his sister in the United States. The children thrive among Nokken's free spirits and helpful people, but the social services want to take them away because the environment is not in the children's best interests (!) - Of course, everything ends as it should. The feisty Olga, owner of the Faldgruben pub, suddenly becomes a mother of two – initially to please the authorities and the children.

Police constable Møller'og psychiatrist Dr. Mogensen will have something to watch as the Pusle to everyone's surprise finds out that she can do magic. On her birthday she gets sent an ancient, magical figure from her uncle in South America. On the same day Pusle's parents has to travel to London, and the large family is now left to strict aunt Alma.
