Pavarotti & Friends was a series of benefit concerts hosted by Italian operatic tenor Luciano Pavarotti between 1992 and 2003 in his home town of Modena, Italy. Proceeds from the events were donated to humanitarian causes including the international aid agency War Child and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. On July 27th 1996, Bryan Adams performed to a sell-out crowd of 70,000 at London’s Wembley Stadium on his 18 til I Die Tour in support of the multi-platinum album of the same name, which had just reached Number 1 in the UK. This incredible performance is packed with hits, including “Summer of ’69,” “Cuts Like a Knife,” “Can’t Stop This Thing We Started,” “Run to You” and a rendition of “It’s Only Love” featuring Melissa Etheridge.

So Far So Good is a compilation album by Bryan Adams, released by A&M Records in November 1993. The album reached number six on The Billboard 200 charts in 1993. The album was number one hit in UK and many other countries. The album contains hits from between "Cuts Like a Knife" (1983) and Waking Up the Neighbours (1991), and a new single, "Please Forgive Me", although all cuts appear in their album versions. Originally the song "So Far So Good" was going to be included on the album so the album started and finished with a new song but it was dropped. The song was included on disc two of Anthology.

Born out of the ashes of Big Star, arguably the greatest cult band of all time, Memphis local Van Duren joined forces with ex-members Chris Bell & Jody Stephens to form a band and become regulars on the 70s Memphis bar circuit. In little time they got the attention of Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham, who then started managing Van Duren. Van was tipped to be the next Paul McCartney but instead faded into obscurity. Forty years later, two friends from Australia (a band manager and musician) chance upon the mysterious musician’s lost album. They fall hopelessly in love with the music and set out to discover why Van Duren isn’t a household name.
