Marie Poledňáková (née Jandová, 7 September 1941 – 8 November 2022) was a Czech film director, screenwriter, writer, and media entrepreneur. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in 1970.

The story takes place in the countryside, where little Vashko's dad takes him and his mother, and where another surprise awaits them: not only an excellent holiday in the setting of a rock town, but also the figure of a grandfather, understanding all the dangerous beliefs in the turbulent surface of the renewed relationship of the three closest people. Vasek's other wish comes true - his dad teaches him the secrets of rock climbing. This shared passion, however, causes further conflicts between the two parents - much to the chagrin of both Vasek and his grandfather.

Petr, a printing apprentice, goes to a cottage with his classmate Hanka to learn more about technology. However, Hanka has other ideas about how to spend their time at the cottage. Petr breaks up with Hanka and on his way back from the cottage he meets a young woman who offers him a ride to Prague. Jana has just run away from her cottage to escape her husband and his friends.
