Los Reyes is a telenovela filmed in Colombia and produced by the Colombian network, RCN. It debuted in 2005 and is available via RCN cable TV in the United States.

Eva, a trans woman, takes on the care of her granddaughter after the sudden death of her daughter-in-law. While processing the grief, she tries to help her son connect emotionally with the baby. Amid tensions, reproaches, and silence, mother and son embark on a path toward mutual understanding and the reconstruction of their family bond.

Amparo, a mysterious woman, offers a large payment to quickly cremate a young woman named Lucia. When the funeral home owners refuse, they later discover the body has vanished and, in panic, give Amparo another person’s ashes instead. She pays and leaves, unaware that this mistake will lead the undertakers into the worst trouble of their lives.

Cheila comes back from Canada to spend vacations at the house she bought to her mother "Maita". She also brings a big news: she will finally change her sex to become woman. Cheila will have surgery soon but she needs her family support.

Two Colombian friends living in the United States drown their sorrows in alcohol after one of them, openly homosexual, discovered his fiancé cheating on him vilely, and the other received an immediate deportation order to Colombia. With too much alcohol in their heads, and between tears and laughter, they make the unexpected and daring decision to get married to provide an immediate solution to all their problems. Although this brings them more problems than solutions.
