This profoundly moving film explore the clandestine struggle of three women fighting for their right to love within their Orthodox Communities in Jerusalem. All three are lesbians, and members of a secret support group called the "Ortho-Dykes".
At its center is a couple whose relationship has run aground – he is an artist, a product of popular industrialized culture, who attempts to undermine it by creating exhibitions that use French fries as a symbol of the spirit of the age. His partner tries to make him truly see her through the food she prepares for him. When she sees something she was never meant to see, their relationship is shaken.
