The found footage film "Love goes through your stomach" is dedicated to nutrition and the human relationship to "production animals“. The collage provides disturbing insights into the behavior of a western affluent society between a lack of appreciation and the origin of animal products. The starting material of the film collage is from youtube and serves different internet phenomena such as ASMR, Mukbang and Lets Play Videos. The experimental narrative perspective and precise picture selection are both humorous and bitterly true, pointing out destructive aspects of global consumer behavior.
Love Goes Through the Stomach

The heads of exquisite corpses assembled from YouTube videos enthusiastically share their so-called success stories. This polyphonic montage of self-obsession and relentless competitiveness is contextualised by fragments from 1950s documentaries, when the normalisation of productivity, progress and individualism was in full swing.
JUGGERNAUT

In the found-footage film JUGGERNAUT, men from YouTube archives take center stage. They participate in an endless competition for the title of "THE BEST." To achieve this, the film uses documentary footage from the 1950s that extol the virtues of capitalism, as well as a flood of YouTube videos uploaded by men revealing their secrets to getting rich quickly.

Iconoclasm is at the core of all Neozoon’s work, but never more explicitly than in Little Lower Than the Angels. Here they apply the musicality and pattern recognition of their previous work to the memeification of Christianity in America, drawing specifically on ideas surrounding man’s bestial nature and attempts to transcend towards spiritual dominion.
Little Lower Than the Angels

The fear of death can only be conquered if people believe in a powerful savior — otherwise eternal damnation in hell is waiting. The documentary found footage collage "Lake of Fire" shows that the dualistic view and way of life of those believers additionally fuels the climate change — related "hell on earth" in a dangerous way.

Made by a collective of German and French artists involved in the defense of animals, "Buck Fever" uses a collage of YouTube videos with hunting footage to document the tension felt before and after the hunt.

GOOD BOY - BAD BOY is a found footage film shot by individuals and focusing on the training of domestic animals, one of the most popular topics on YouTube. What at first glance may be perceived as endearing (Good Boy) turns out to be the result of a series of excessive and degrading punishments to which these animals are subjected, completely at the mercy of their owner (Bad Boy). This semblance of harmony can be perceived—from the pet's perspective—as the result of a systemic incompatibility.
GOOD BOY - BAD BOY
Found-footage film about the Christian idea of afterlife & the question which living beings go to heaven. It opens the view on contradictory social & religious imagery & thematizes how social networks increasingly push ideas of a dazzeling afterlife.
Biting the Dust

Karl Marx calls commodity fetish in his main work Capital the quasi-religious material relationship to products that people produce for each other in division of labour or social work. The term fetish is used to describe the attribution of qualities or powers to things that they do not possess by nature. Already in Marx' time the term fetish was used primarily in connection with animistic religions. The people in the video Fragmants worship their consumer goods like religious cult objects. The religion venerated here is that of capitalism, which reveals itself to be superficial and meaningless. The believers of this religion are only uprooted fragments of themselves.
FragMANts
Overly cutesy collage of YouTube videos in which women overenthusiastically introduce their pets to the world. They all openly declare their love of their pedigree dogs and cats. The relationship between people and animals in current society is a recurring theme in the work of women's art collective Neozoon.
MY BBY 8L3W
A short film about young people who practice a form of guttural expression, looking for a sound analogy to the animals within themselves.
