Tanssii tähtien kanssa is a Finnish version of the British BBC television series Strictly Come Dancing. The show has run on MTV3 since March 3, 2006, on Sunday evenings. The show was originally hosted by Marco Bjurström and Ella Kanninen. Ella Kanninen left the show after the second season and was replaced by model and Season 2 contestant Vanessa Kurri. In 2009, Kurri was replaced by Vappu Pimiä after only one season. Marco Bjurstöm left the series after Season 4 and Mikko Leppilampi took over as host. Ella Kanninen returned to host the seventh season due to Pimiä's maternity leave; Pimiä returned to host the eighth season with Leppilampi. From 2022 Pimiä was joined by Ernest Lawson. The series' title is a pun on the title of the film Dances with Wolves, Tanssii susien kanssa.

Finnish version of The Best Singers series. Each week, one artist is chosen and the remaining artists perform covers of their songs and are judged by that artist.
Vain elämää

A timeless, stark, black-and-white landscape, ruthless to its inhabitant, sets the stage for the cosmic pain of separation. Right at the start, Mira Luoti’s sullen modern Dulcinea announces that she has found another man, and the jilted wanderer (Toni “Protoni” Järvinen) sinks into a blurry in-between zone that rings in the ears and bends the broken mind. He finds a shellfish-allergic contract killer as his companion/squire, and it soon becomes clear that righting past wrongs will essentially be about building a new stripper pole.

Directed by Arto Tuohimaa, the film closely follows one of the most popular Finnish bands of the 2000's, covering their last two years on tour, in the studio, and at practice. The intimate moments right before heading out onto the stage as well as the feelings after a euphoric show clearly depict the band members as a family of sorts. Right from the beginning, PMMP's line-up has remained the same as well as their self motivated way of creating and performing music; refreshing alternative in a conservative world of pop music. All band members are interviewed in the film along with the lead singers Paula and Mira, who usually stand in the spotlight.

PMMP: Live at YleX Pop

In 2003, PMMP was breaking into the mainstream of the Finnish music scene. This documentary tells not only the story of the band's comeback year, but also what it was like to be a young female artist in Finland in the 2000s – and what kind of mark it left. The documentary consists of extensive archive material and recent interviews in which Vesala and Luoti openly talk about painful experiences that did not remain private but became intertwined with PMMP's music, lyrics, and performances.
