Sinikka has by chance made acquaintance with her downstairs neighbour Vilja and asked her for help. Clutter has taken over Sinikka’s home and there is only a small human-sized pathway left in the apartment. As a window renovation is approaching, Sinikka needs to clear 1,5 meters empty space. A short documentary of friendship and its meaning in giving and receiving help.

Strangers in the Dark is an experimental film about how light pollution makes a glow-worm’s love life a living hell. Combining different techniques from animation to archive material the film follows glow-worm’s attempts to find a partner in an environment that is no longer dark at night. The story about light and darkness moves from the scale of planetary to microscopic, from the calmness of nature to a hectic city and from artificial light to the green shimmer of a glow-worm’s behind.

We all have a border inside us. This film tells us about a young man’s inner state of mind and his struggle of self-affirmation before his father.

Set in 1960s Helsinki, The Chauffeur tells the humorous and poignant story of a driver on his way to pick up an important passenger - and his idol - Bob Dylan.
