Josef Laufer portrays Egon Erwin Kisch in two daring journalistic adventures: in “Zuřivý reportér,” Kisch goes undercover in a poverty lodging house, uncovers a tattoo’s dark backstory and deciphers a secret telegram hinting at war via the legend of the black rose; in “Lovci senzací,” he pursues sensational leads and exposes hidden truths, proving why he was rightly called “the raging reporter.”

This naively filmed adventure story draws from Robert L. Stvenson's novel, but adapts it to its own devices. It tells the story of a young Czech who witnesses the deceitful actions of a ship owner. In fact, the villain is enriched by the plight of Bulgarian patriots fighting against Turkish rule on the eve of World War I.

Wartime events from a child's perspective were a popular theme during the previous regime - here it is a twelve-year-old village boy who experiences dangerous situations with retreating Nazi troops in picturesque South Bohemia... Any attempt to achieve a more believable depiction is destroyed by the staging's grandeur, and in the end the result is an awkward piece, suitable at most for celebrating the relevant national holidays. A longer copy with a tragic ending is stored in the NFA. Milda is shot unnoticed by an SS major.

Petr, a printing apprentice, goes to a cottage with his classmate Hanka to learn more about technology. However, Hanka has other ideas about how to spend their time at the cottage. A pure relationship develops between this couple, despite their age and social differences. In his naivety, Petr wants to introduce Jana to his parents as his bride. However, he learns that she is married to Honza...

However, with a slight exaggeration, thanks to many accurate and well-paced situations, the author humorously shows what this time can do not only to the new mother herself, but also to her immediate surroundings, in this case her husband and his career...

Centurion Kubát, of Czech origin, is staying in the camp of the Habsburg army, which is suppressing the Great French Revolution in France. He is staying in a house where a girl named Francoise lives. The eager Lieutenant Hauser reports to the centurion that he has caught two Habsburg soldiers with a French prisoner. Hauser suspects that the centurion's servant Tomáš is involved in the matter. He must severely punish Tomáš for his absence on the critical evening, but promises to pay him out of the army. He learns that he will receive a medal, invites the officers to dinner, and there announces to the colonel that he wants to request discharge from the army...

The story of royal twins and their different personalities. Is the person who thinks primarily of themselves happy, or can we only find true happiness in helping others? And can we think of those who are not right in front of our eyes? Petr Janiš explores these and other questions of selfishness and altruism in his original fairy tale based on the story of the royal twins Amélie and Jan. Prince Jan is endowed with magical powers; any wish he makes comes true. His sister, Princess Amélie, makes sure that his wishes are wise. It seems that nothing can threaten the happiness of the royal family and the whole country, but then the king's selfish and cruel brother enters their previously clear and problem-free life...
