Jus' travlin', Bob and his sidekick run into the outlaw Jean Le Roque. A miner has found gold and Le Roque not only wants the gold but also the miner's daughter. He captures the miner and tries to get the mine's location from him. He also tells the daughter he will kill her father unless she marries him. After disposing of Le Roque's gang by accidentally setting off a explosive charge that kills them, Bob goes after Le Roque.

Peters buys up the mortgage and then kidnaps Dorothy when Tom goes away to get the money to pay it off. Tom effects her rescue with the aid of Little Joey and Bendy Mulligan, a rheumatic old cowpuncher. The mortgage is paid off, and Bendy's accidental discovery of oil while taking a mud bath solves Dorothy's financial problems. Dorothy and Tom wed.

Believing Jim is guilty, Tug's daughter, Ruth, aids Buck in capturing Jim, but he escapes. Ruth gets help from Sheriff Hank Bosley, and a sheepherder, Sanchez, reveals Rankin's responsibility for both the rustling of Bledsoe's cattle and the killing of Wilson.

An inventor adds new innovations to an air company's planes, prompting the owners of a rival company to set out to steal them. The stakes are sky-high as an airman and an aviatrix find themselves in constant peril, both on earth and above the clouds.
