After failing to get into college, Galya finished flight attendant training and started flying with navigator Viktor, who happened to witness her failures and supported her during difficult times. A year passed quickly, and she became a college student. But on her last flight, there were two gangsters among the passengers.
The Applicant

A tronka, a sheep bell made from a trophy shell casing, symbolises peace from war. In the Ukrainian steppe, where shepherds use tronkas, a military training ground exists. Major Uralov, an officer, marries a local woman, and they have a daughter, Alenka, who dies. After her death, the Uralovs leave the steppe with the military unit, enduring their grief but remaining unbroken. Based on a novel by Oles Honchar.
Tronka

1914, Imperial Russia. A group of Ukrainian peasants searching for a better life in the Taurida steppe end up working at the landholding of the aristocratic Falz-Fein family. Friends Vustya and Hanna are courted by a revolutionary and the landowner's son, both rising their hopes and dreams.

On a small island is a lighthouse. The lighthouse keeper, the old boatswain Yemelyan Leleka, lives here with his wife and daughter. The boat that delivers supplies is the only guest from the big world. Over time, the girl feels romantic feelings for the boat captain - Igor.

From the first days of the WWII, an underground Komsomol organization "Partisan Spark" was established in a small Ukrainian village Krymka, captured by the fascists. It was headed by a ninth-grader Parfen Grechanyi. Young underground members, yesterday's schoolchildren, led a brave and courageous fight against the occupants. Beginning with the defeat of a fascist convoy that was taking bread from the village, the Sparkers were terrifying the enemies with their combat operations. It was 1943. The organization grew and became stronger. One day a rash act of a desperate boy Shura Kuchera leads the enemies on the trail of the underground group members....
Partisan Spark
A TV film based on O. Honchar's short story "Sunflowers" is a lyrical narrative about the village of the late 1960s-early 1970s of the last century, about its people, their soulful beauty and working days. A sculptor comes to one of the picturesque Ukrainian villages to create a portrait of the Hero of Socialist Labor Melanya Chobitko. The first meeting disappoints the artist, but seeing her in a collective farm field, the sculptor discovers her real human beauty.
The Golden Timpani

Based on the short story collection «A Moment Before Happiness» by Oles Honchar. A love story between a Hungarian girl, Lóri, and a Ukrainian soldier, Sashko, at the end of the Second World War. An unexpected meeting and a fleeting moment of happiness are overshadowed by the advances of a Hungarian man who is obsessed with her. Defending his beloved, Sashko kills the jealous rival. The scandal is then covered up by Sashko’s death.
