For several months, the investigation into the robbery of the cashier in the village of Airport. Assistants to the chief of criminal investigation department Mironov managed to find the direct traces leading to the thief-the recidivist Panasyuk serving sentence in a colony for small theft.

At the beginning of the XVII century, events take place preceding the liberation struggle led by Bohdan Khmelnytsky. A young boy Pavlo Pokhylenko leaves his native Kaniv to join the Zaporizhian Sich (camp and cossack army) to fight for freedom and the Orthodox faith.

Based on the novel of the same name by Yurii Mushketyk. For the second year, a laboratory headed by professor Marchenko has been working on the problem of photosynthesis. The work absorbs the entire team – each new result seems to confirm the correctness of the leader’s theory. The scientist Borozna, convinced that his colleague’s research path is mistaken, makes it clear to a doctor that it is time to stop and take a more critical look at the results.

Ivan is a simple, good-hearted man who wakes up in his apartment and notices a mare named Kasia just outside his window. Being a kind soul, he keeps her and takes her around the city. What is that mare capable of, and where do you find a shelter for her? Kasia becomes a problem for Ivan and the subject of all kinds of speculation. But unlike everyday problems, you can easily get rid of it by letting go of the reins.

The film tells about the historical significance of the victorious Battle of Konotop. Footage of soldiers from the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi is interwoven with events of the Konotop battle.
