Adaptation of Jorge Luis Borges The Book of Sand. The film is built from stop motion photographs to create a living stop motion. The film is part of a project produced by The Everyman Theatre in Liverpool.

The search is on for a mythical pen which grants its holder the ability to write an immortal line forever engraved on the collective memory of mankind.

When Borges held the Book of Sand for the first time, he realized that it is like no other book. It allowed him to dive into its magical worlds. A stranger told him that the book resembles the infinite with no beginning and no end, and that it will change his life forever.
