Biography
Syrian filmmaker, actress, and poet born in Damascus on June 18. She obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in English Language from Damascus University and graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Dramatic Studies, where she was a dramaturge of several performances there. She has several contributions in the fields of critical writing, translation, screenwriting and directing. She made her directorial debut with the documentary Haunted (2014) which was screened at many international festivals, such as Dubai International Film Festival.

The story opens with the murder of businessman Faisal Muthanna, ruled a homicide likely perpetrated by someone who wanted to rob him of his wealth. Elsewhere, Samir, a despairing tailor and taxi driver, reunites with his friend Yazen after years of war separated them.
