Rodolfo (Luis Brandoni) is a retired doctor. Since he was widowed a few years ago, he lives alone in his house. For an unexpected event, his daughter Laura (Nancy Dupláa) with whom he barely speaks, needs to move with him for a few days. The coexistence will bring old discussions to the table, wounds that did not heal and the opportunity for them to connect again.

Each love story in the film takes us to a different past, from a different present. The hope for a bright future is an illusion that keeps us expecting, as it unleashes the anguish of waiting for something extraordinary to happen. In this strange time, shaped by memory pieces and by what could have happened but didn’t, is where the characters of the film inhabit, awaiting the arrival of the future. The storyteller in “In the Future” is a ghost. My ghost. The film explores several love stories, both heterosexual and homosexual, in different pasts and presents, focusing on memory and what might have happened.

Waiting alone for her boyfriend at a hotel, a woman starts paying attention to the mysterious behavior of some guests.

A woman who comes to transform the city. Two friends now at odds forever. A man who invades apartments to film women from afar. A writer who plagiarizes books and a translator who discovers it. A UFO epidemic in an unbearable summer.

Within the framework of an office, a typical presenter shows us -on the one hand- the dramatizations and "scientific" foundations while -on the other- the fantasies and actions of its protagonists escape the genre, revealing an absurd story of power and concealment.
