Thirty Cases of Major Zeman is a Czechoslovak action-drama television show intended as a political propaganda to support the official attitude of the communist party. The series were filmed in the 1970s. Each episode encompasses one year, and investigations are stylized to that year. Most are inspired by real cases. He then experiences both his first love and a battle high above the clouds in the collective of combat pilots. Combat pilots on the Eastern Front thus experience similar stories to their Western colleagues, with the same goals and plans and the same slim prospects of survival in their daily life-and-death battles. When the Nazi army occupied Bohemia and Moravia on March 15, 1939, the Czech nation faced a period of mortal danger. A few weeks later, Major General Alois Eliáš entered the most dramatic period of his life – on April 27, 1939, he was appointed Prime Minister of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. This was despite the fact that the Nazis were aware of Eliáš's activities in the Russian and then French Czechoslovak legions, and that he was an advocate of active defense at the time of the Munich capitulation. Alois Eliáš accepted the position in the Protectorate government with full awareness of the risks and dangers: he was aware that by cooperating with the Nazis he would tarnish his name, and he knew that he could not do without feigned loyalty.

The film thematically follows the stories of the TV series "30 cases of Major Zeman". We can meet Major Zeman again with Lieutenant Colonel Zitny, Major Hradec and Lieutenant Gajdoš. The film is set in 1972 in a South American country and shows the activities of an international counter-revolutionary headquarters, which the central character of the film - Major Hradec - uncovers even at the cost of his own life. The film was largely shot in Cuba. The film is an edited version of the series episodes 27 and 28 "Messages from an Unknown Land" and "Hostages in Bella Vista".

This documentary is the first co-production between the GDR and the CSR, showing Czech pioneers exploring the island of Rügen and the "Ernst Thälmann Pioneers" climbing through the High Tatras. Motivated and full of curiosity, the children from the CSR experience the beauty of the sea, sail on the training ship "Wilhelm Pieck" and enjoy swimming on the island of Rügen. The parallel visit of the GDR pioneers gives them exciting and unforgettable experiences on a cable car ride to the peaks of the High Tatras, where they learn a lot about the flora and fauna and recognize the overwhelming beauty of the mountain world with a good view.
