Bombs are dropping everywhere, even Elwood, Melbourne, Australia. In the ruins that follow, three survivors find a bomb shelter. Only to find that the survivors in there are having a party.
A Prince of Monaco and Constanza, his consort, have a common birthday. They hate each other. Paranoia grips them. They flee to an island. Meanwhile large and medium-sized birds run amok in the casino.
Pinry is a museum curator who works by day. Bernard is a greyhound racing photographer who works by night. Newlyweds Pinry and Bernard meet on the weekends to do the washing, go shopping and watch old footage from their wedding day.
