Tomás is known as the best poulterer. His clients admire the skill and precision with which he makes his cuts and he performs his work as if it were a sacred ritual. But when a new poulterer comes to work at the chicken shop, Tomás suddenly sees his fame and reputation threatened.

The Return of the Dead is a story about human condition and repentance. This documentary is the story of a tormented man, Don Rosendo, who has been haunted by his past and in the dawn of his life tries to find a sense for his existence. This story happens at the Mexico-USA border, in a transitory hostel.

José Alfredo Jiménez is a cab driver. His friend Reinaldo Cruz (a fascinating, most endearing, one-of-a-kind character) is a shoeshiner. Both live on the outskirts of Mexico City and share a dream: participating in the “jaripeos”, this is, in those rodeos where bulls are ridden. The experience they have in these matters is non-existent and, nevertheless, they challenge some scary pros.
