Euripides Laskaridis

Ioli is a romantic and sensitive mermaid who lives in her underwater home somewhere in the Amvrakikos Gulf among squid, snappers, sea urchins, seals and other sea creatures. With her lives her little sister Callirroi, who has one and only desire: to lose her virginity.

Dimitris Papaioannou's new piece is a "dissection of the male psyche," and seems to draw upon a range of influences including the work of Jean Genet, Rene Magritte and Robert Wilson. Inspiration for the show also came partly from Papaioannou's own experiences as a gay man in Greece.

This film is about an upside down world, where being homosexual is considered "normal" and heterosexual is considered "not normal".

People who straggle to catch up with their tight deadlines. Everyone is traveling alone on a unicycle, emphasizing the fact that life is imbalanced.

In a virtual world where emotions are long forgotten, two avatars fail to fall in love. Meanwhile their cardigans come to life, with unexpected results.
