A black political comedy, which, as a backdrop, uses the election race and the accompanying chaos in the media. The film's protagonist is a presidential candidate in the 2000 elections in Poland who suddenly withdraws from the election campaign despite his best ratings. During the election battle, he portrays himself as a professional liar and decides to give away everything he has previously won. What he doesn't expect, however, is how difficult a problem giving can be.

To prevent these seeing the light of day, Amway obtained a court ban on the film, preventing its release. Director Henryk Dederko and producer Jacek Gwizdała were sued by Amway several times on various counts. This was the first case of preventive censorship in the history of Polish cinema after 1989. The defendants were cleared of disseminating untrue information. This acquittal did not enable the ban on the film to be revoked; the court ban on its release remained in force for 12 years.

For the last 35 years Paczkowski has been spending all his holiday leaves in Warsaw on the reconstruction and building of the capital city, in accordance with the scout pledge made in 1945 near the dead body of a fallen scout.

Dederko takes a look at a daring idea that Jerzy Czapla, head of the Lodz homeless shelter on Szczytowa Street, came up with. His facility was in urgent need of renovation. To raise funds, he decided to organize an "urban survival" event. Homeless people from the shelter were to show "ordinary" people what their lives were like. They were to be guides who show their "charges" how they struggle to survive on the city streets. The participants of the project had a chance to see what it's like to function in a big city without a roof over their heads, meeting human contempt at every turn.
