Lampsi is one of the most popular series on Greek television. It was broadcast for more than 14 years by the Greek television station ANT1 nearly every day. This TV series was played on Greek television station ANT1 and began broadcasting on 16 September 1991 and the last episode was broadcast on 29 July 2005. In total 3,457 episodes were broadcast in 14 years. The script was written by Nikos Foskolos and on the filming of the episodes directors were Nikos Foskolos, Spyros Foskolos and other five directors. A Greek series that presents aspects of the lives of folk musicians who formed a rebetiko band during the 1930s-1960s. The title To Minore tis Avgis comes from the song of the same name, with lyrics by Minos Matsas and music by Spyros Peristeris. The series, which premiered on ERT on January 14, 1983, and was completed in two cycles of 14 and 13 episodes respectively, features popular songs by Vamvakaris, Tsitsanis, Papaioannou, Hatzichristou, and others. Antonis Zagouras is a young rebetis who arrives in Athens from Syros in search of fortune. He becomes a member of a rebetiko band and embarks on an exciting journey full of love, success, but also many disappointments, until he gains social and artistic recognition.

The story of Nikos, a Greek immigrant who went to Germany, looking for a better life and after failing as a car mechanic, returns to Greece an alcoholic, and gets a job as a truck driver. He transports iron, bricks, vegetables throughout Greece. In each episode of the series, we have a different story of "wandering", experiencing situations typical of the society of the '80s.

The novel's plot unfolds mainly during the interwar period and the Occupation. The protagonists and narrators are two women, Nina and her friend Hekabi, who live in these periods and faithfully describe the climate of the era through their personal stories. Nina successively performs three marriages — hence the title of the work.
