Working as a modest garbage collector and part-time theater assistant in Berlin, Ali Ekber feels betrayed by his friends. After getting his hands on a theater prop Politzei uniform, he uses it to pose as a Politzei and impress his love - waitress Babett.
Güneş lost herself after her family's dying on 1999 Istanbul earthquakes. Probably her hearing and seeing ability is not good too. The chaos of Güneş (The sun) is a metaphor for creation of the solar system.
Reminiscent of Martin Scorsese's 1985 production, After Hours, this film narrates the events of a night in the chaotic backstreets of Beyoğlu in Istanbul. The day he receives his wage, and after arguing with his wife, Haydar (Tarik Akan) leaves the house in a fury and heads to Beyoğlu for a wild night out. However, a prostitute and her pimp bring him such troubles, and he finds himself penniless and in police custody.
