Grandma died at the worst possible moment.
DEAD GRANDMA

Following a decades-long fascination with the horror genre, a couple purchase an abandoned duplex to use as a location for their low-budget horror film. They soon notice that random strangers are drawn to the old building, but never approach, merely standing outside and staring at it in a sort of trance. Delighted to find themselves embroiled in a real-life scary story, the two team up with an old friend and put their years of horror expertise, amateur ghost hunting, and paranormal obsession to use in the hope of discovering why this building holds such a strange power over people.
It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This
A group of estranged siblings must reconcile with the past when the death of their mother coincides with the appearance of an apocalyptic cult, suicidal clown, and the second coming of Christ.
You Are Your Body / You Are Not Your Body

Three white male filmmakers meet for a long weekend to make a final attempt to salvage their ambitious, semi-fictional film about “reality.” However, holed up together in an empty room, their creative disagreements only escalate, and the dialogue becomes increasingly defensive and toxic. As the Hollywood film they imagined collapses, the three begin to wrestle each other—desperately, shamelessly—for control over the narrative about what poisoned their collaboration.
The Trouble With Men
A man leaves his quiet life in the country to become a comic entertainer in the Big City. His journey is a Surreal celebration of the descent into a Hell of narcissistic self-destruction. In a string of events ranging from antisocial transgression to racist provocation to fantastic flights of absurdity, our protagonist loses grasp of his humanity and bit by bit slips into complete animal degradation. A comedy.
When You Call Me That, Smile
An adaptation of the book.
If You Won't Read, Then Why Should I Write? by Jarett Kobek (The Movie!)

The Very Last Interview
Adapted from Camille Saint-Saëns's Op. 124 Fantaisie for Violin & Harp
Vive la fantaisie / Ceci n'est pas une fantaisie
A woman tells the story of the past 9 months in which she lost a series of family members and close friends in unrelated, totally unexpected tragic deaths. Her story stretches tragedy to the point of comic absurdity.

Sigmund Snopek III’s long, idiosyncratic, unpredictable career deserved an equally long, idiosyncratic, unpredictable documentary. The film features extensive footage shot over six years with Snopek himself, along with original interviews with fellow musicians, fans, and industry insiders—including longtime Snopek collaborators and fellow Milwaukee eccentrics, the Violent Femmes. Through archival footage, live performances, and even a few glimpses into alternate realities, viewers will gain a newfound appreciation for Snopek’s restlessly innovative spirit and enduring legacy.

Radical left-wing author Jarett Kobek's last novel was a massive commercial failure. As he sees it, the only hope left for his career is to promote his newest book, Only Americans Burn in Hell, by debating prominent conservatives on right-wing media. But can America's last dissident author save his career while democracy dies around him?
